The Brown Aari Co-ord Set is inspired by the Aari embroidery of Gujarat, India.

Crafted in Corduroy, the blazer has an oversized fit with contrast detailing of silk piping along the pockets and cuff. The pockets are embroidered with brass metal embellishments. 

The trouser, crafted in Corduroy as well, has a comfort fit with hand-done applique work of aari embroidered patches. The embellishments used for the aari work are of brass. The trouser features a front opening with a half elasticated waistband and of course, deep pockets.

Our standard trouser length is 42". For custom length, add this product to your cart and enter your desired length (in inches) before check out.

Inspiration Craft

AARI EMBROIDERY : This embroidery tells a story through threads and beads. It was the Mochi or cobbler community of the Kutch region that popularised this art and it got noticed by the royals of Gujarat.

Aari embroidery gets its name from the needle that is used to do the embroidery, called an Aar. The beauty of the embroidery is that it lets you explore and create. Anyone can use it to express their own individual taste and style. This versatile embroidery is known asTambourin the west.

Aari embroidery is colourful, vibrant and inspired by nature and wildlife. The ripple effects in the embroidery are believed to be inspired by the dunes of the Thar Desert.
