The Red Zardozi Co-ord Set is inspired by the Zardozi embroidery of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Crafted in Cotton Corduroy, the waistcoat has a relaxed fit with hand-crafted detailing of symmetrical checks in dabka with sequin and cutdana. The trouser has a comfort fit with a beautiful flair at the bottom with hand-crafted detailing of dabka and cutdana. Each button of the waistcoat is meticulously crafted by hand. The trouser is secured with a steel trouser hook and has deep pockets.

Inspiration Craft

ZARDOZI EMBROIDERY : Known for its regal splendour, Zardozi embroidery traces its origin to the royal Mughal era. The Mughal court was a vibrant melting pot of culture, where artisans from Persia, Central Asia, and India gathered to showcase their finest skills. The royal family's love for rich and luxurous clothing inspired the craftsmen to introduce shiny gold and silver metal to clothing.

The art of weaving metal into fabric in a way that made garments shimmer came to be known as Zardozi. The resulting embroidery was so dazzling that it seemed to glow with the light of the sun.

  • Hand-dyed in New Delhi
  • 12.5 hours of hand embroidery work.
  • Symmetrical Dabka Checks on the front and the back of the waistcoat.
  • The waistcoat is fully lined with the softest mul.
  • The trouser is not lined.
  • Stitched with high quality threads.
  • Waistcoat : Regular fit; Trouser : Comfort fit and flair, true to the size.
  • Model is 5'9" wearing the Shirt in size XS and Trouser in size S.
